I have started work on a new release, It should be called 'We Prayed Under The Altar Of Luna' and will have a classic black metal feel, I wanted to make one release which is pure black metal. And this is what release will be. Expect more details soon, it will be very similar to my S/T album but better and more focused.

I have decided to release the Pagan Tomb:

From soundcloud: https://soundcloud.com/frostbittenblackmetal/the-pagan-tomb

It's available for free download like all Frostbitten songs...

This picture will be used in some way to be the album cover of the Pagan Tomb, it will be out soon. I like this photo as it feels desolate and lifeless and gives a very great scene setting to the piece of music.

The Pagan Tomb is finished completely, it's 18 minutes and 22 seconds long. One of the best I have written, it doesn't have this epic long feeling, but I was not going for this, it more tells a story through time. I will release it soon, but don't be surprised if I release it within the next couple of days, it will be from bandcamp or mediafire as I have run out of soundcloud minutes.

very productive day today, recorded 2 visceral hatred songs (possibly a third if I keep it) and most importantly the Pagan Tomb Part 1 is done. I have decided to split the song into sections, I don't know how many yet but it will be at least 2, anyway this song is just under 9 minutes long. It has an incredible atmosphere, once the next parts are made I will release it. I hope you enjoy it, it seems to be very unique. There are also only clean vocals at the beginning, but there should be harsher ones in the next part(s).

Frostbitten

Just uploading Frostbitten MMXII onto media-fire now. I am 17 today, it marks the end of an era. The era of Frostbitten's inception, things get very different from now, I am starting to write new frostbitten things, things will be heavier, not necessarily more extreme but heavier. My guitar is now permanently tuned at drop-C for Visceral Hatred but this has also helped create some really melodic riffs. There might also be a heavier influence on drone, I am starting to create very atmospheric pieces, one of which is called 'The Pagan Tomb' it hasn't got very far in writing but expect it to be one of the longest Frostbitten songs. I will release more music in 2013.

The download has to be split into 2 parts:

Part II - http://www.mediafire.com/?k7ezvx7upnec2ub

Teaser Trailer for the new EP
(Using the album track Piercing The Crypt)

This past week I began Visceral Hatred, it's a Death Metal project in a similar vein to Autopsy. I have since Sunday finished the first demo, SPAWNED INTO DEPRAVITY. It will be out in the next couple of weeks, for free download or a small fee (£1), I haven't decided yet. Frostbitten stuff will always be free to download, but I am starting other projects, that will require money to buy things as more people are involved. Visceral Hatred is only me however, and it is at a much higher standard than frostbitten (not a mistake in sight) and it's quite technical. There are 8 songs, and the demo's about 12 minutes long. It's short, brutal and doesn't take it's time (as opposed to some of my work ie Nocturnal Hypnosis). Please download and tell me what you think when it comes out, because I am very excited for this project and can't wait to make more output. I also think many of you will be pleasantly surprised. Also at some point I will make a large .zip folder for all my Frostbitten work of 2012, don't expect any more this year though. It will contain some unreleased tracks.

Frostbitten

Here is the song I just made, it's up on soundcloud, has a very unique feel to it, embracing a middle eastern towards the ending. The song represents jesus dying, his belief still unchanged, it shows a perspective of passion and how passionate people are about their religion, I found this picture of Jesus also, which I changed a bit to go with the feel of the song, his eyes full of belief really give a visual idea of the meaning.
Admittedly  I did throw the song together quickly and some of the sections seem to feel a bit of sudden
change, but I think some of the best guitar work I have done.

Should be creating some new music, as I got a day off.

And it's up, probably the last song this year, I think it's a fitting end to the year, embracing death, the slow doom laden end, darker than ever before...

My 'A Famine Of The Soul' EP is done then, I feel there is nothing left to add to it, composed in 2 weeks, perhaps about 10 hours of writing, recording, editing.

Frostbitten MMXII should also be out soon, I'll put it on bandcamp, for free download. It currently has about 29 songs, though it would have to be compiled onto 3 discs now.

Friday, 2 November 2012

new track being made, will probably be the last, it's still about 7 mins though. Also I will be releasing Frostbitten MMXII, it has all the songs I made late last year, and this year, also has some unreleased stuff. To get a physical copy message me, otherwise it will be up for download soon.

Saturday, 27 October 2012

Just finished my Opening track for Famine Of The Soul, It's 9 Minutes long, instrumental and one of my best. It sounds surprisingly similar to Agalloch or Wolves In The Throne Room.
I have also changed the album cover:

Thursday, 25 October 2012

Deciding to release the a S/T EP, this has the recent black metal tracks I have done:
1.Introduction
2.Beyond The Mountain And Fog
3.Ruins Of A Fallen Empire
4.Descending Into Eternal Warfare
5.One Minute Of Blasphemy

The next album will be A Famine Of The Soul, however I feel this does not fir the EP I was making, so it will have many songs themed in this heavily emotional, depressive and melodic album. More info. soon.

Review

This is the review for the Frostbitten Promo I sent:

Hailing from the city of Cambridge, Frostbitten is a one-man Black Metal project and yet when upon hearing the debut album 'Nocturnal Hypnosis' unfold like a venus fly trap decapitating its prey, the inevitable sound of raw black metal spews out over the atmosphere like a poison gas murdering everything living within its detonation radius. Word of warning, turn down the speakers, for at points the album gets very loud and as such could make the listener sh*t themselves. Full of depressive shrieks, shrieks rivalling pain and music to rival the satanic Justin Bieber, no wonder this is an underground project, you probably could not find anything more kvlt.
